1 tbsp chili paste or chili flakes (optional for heat)
1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F). Line a baking tray with foil or parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, chili paste (if using), and 2 tablespoons of the passionfruit honey.
Add chicken wings and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for deeper flavor).
Place marinated wings on the tray in a single layer. Reserve excess marinade
Bake for 25–30 minutes, turning once halfway through.
Meanwhile, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil, then stir in the remaining 1 tbsp of passionfruit honey and simmer until slightly thickened (2–3 minutes).
Brush the thickened glaze over the cooked wings. Sprinkle generously with toasted sesame seeds.
Serve hot as an appetizer or with rice for a main dish.
